Why gas masks?

Portlanders - both protesters and average citizens — our frogs — are facing tear gas and chemical irritants near the ICE facility. Helicopters fly incessantly overhead, and tear gas is used indiscriminately. Schools have been forced to move. Peaceful living and assembly is a constitutional right, but it shouldn't come at the cost of your health.

We purchase NATO-standard, military-grade CBRN gas masks with 40mm NBC filters (approved for nuclear, biological, and chemical hazards) and distribute them to peaceful citizens who need protection. Every $170 provides complete respiratory protection—full-face mask plus long-life filter—so neighbors can document, demonstrate, and exercise their right to live safely without overreach by the government.
